Family era, daughter's request
My daughter wanted Pokemon-style "ultra rare" cards that didn't exist - versions of her favorite characters with the holographic foil treatment, custom moves, and HP stats. So we designed and printed our own: metallic/holographic cardstock, a Cricut for cutting, and a corner-radius punch to get real card corners.
It grew past Pokemon into a full original set of dragon and creature cards - each one named, with its own HP, moves, and a limited print number stamped on the card, like real trading cards. They live in a binder now like any other collection.
